Corn Bread INGREDIENTS:
4 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons liquid nondairy creamer or milk
1 cup yellow cornmeal
3/4 cup self-rising flour
Corn Bread PREPARATION:
Add ingredients to bowl in order listed and beat well until it looks like a smooth cake batter.
Add batter to pan, bigger is thinner cornbread
Bake at 400 degrees F, 16 to 18 minutes or until tester inserted into centers comes out clean
For southern style: heat cast-iron skillet in oven during pre heat. add butter to skillet. after coating skillet with the butter, pour remainder into the batter.
